2022 Projects

**Gender-Sensitive Cities Project**
Under the CEID-Izler Grant Program funded by the EU, YÜKAM participated as a collaborator in this project, which was co-applied by DEMIS and Turuncu Derneği.

**NGO Visibility Project**
In this project, conducted in partnership with Turuncu Derneği, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s (IBB) Ideas Unit, and YÜKAM, communication faculty students were involved in working with six NGOs.

**SPARK-YÜKAM and UNESCO Migration Chair Collaborative Partnership**
Under this collaboration, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, and the conference/workshop “Gender Equality and Social Cohesion: Pathways for Future” was held. A written report on “Gender Equality and Social Cohesion in Iraq” was published, and an online project training titled “Training on Preparing Project Proposals for the Call for Grants” was organized for academics in Iraq.

**Increasing Capacity to Combat Violence Against Women and Strengthening the Volunteering Network During the Pandemic in Izmir**
Funded by the French Embassy, this project was executed by İzmir Women’s Solidarity Association with the support of YÜKAM’s educational activities.
