Yaşar University Gender Equality Plan

Yaşar University has implemented its Gender Equality Plan, which includes gender equality as one of its strategic goals. The university is progressing towards developing concrete policies with a gender equality perspective, integrated into its academic and administrative units, management approach, education, and research activities.

As part of the EU Horizon 2020 CALIPER (Research and Innovation for Gender Equality) Project, Yaşar University conducted a gender equality self-assessment study in collaboration with 12 European institutions. Following this, on December 7, 2020, the university established the Center for Women’s and Family Studies Application and Research to support its institutional development, with concrete policies and practices aligned with its needs.

Within the framework of the Yaşar University Gender Equality Plan, which covers 10 key areas ranging from employment and career processes to research and institutional governance, Yaşar University aims to create a gender-sensitive educational, research, and working environment across all academic and administrative units.
