2026 Projects

Inspired by Art (Sanatla) Project: Funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye under IPA III and led by the Flying Broom Foundation, the project titled “Inspiring Change Through Art and Culture in Türkiye: Youth Advocacy for Gender Equality and Marginalized Women” (Sanatla) features Yaşar University as an associate partner, alongside Van Yüzüncü Yıl University and Trakya University. In this initiative, which encompasses a broad network of stakeholders including TOBAV, MORDEM, the Young Volunteers Association, and KEAN, YÜKAM supports the content and advocacy dimensions by delivering academic training sessions for the target group titled “The Genderization of Reason from Culture to Philosophy” and “The Sexist Language of the Media.” Additionally, the Center provides facilitation support for the implementation of the project’s Izmir program.

Together, In a Circle: Sexual Health is Every Woman’s Right Project: Implemented with the financial support of the Norwegian Government and executed by the KEP Association (Collective Impact Program), YÜKAM is positioned as the primary academic partner in this program. Conducted through the “Women’s Circles” model for 180 women living in Izmir, our Center undertakes the mapping of local service units, the preparation of informative brochures, and the monitoring and evaluation activities of the entire process. Based on the findings obtained at the end of the project, the report titled “SRHR Trainings via the Women’s Circles Model: Implementation and Impact Report (2025)” will be prepared and shared with the public.

Izmir YEİP Capacity Building Program: Executed under the leadership of the Izmir Local Equality Monitoring Platform (YEİP), the “Basic and Advanced Level Digital Communication and Content Creation Capacity Building Program” aims to enhance the digital advocacy skills of civil society components. YÜKAM serves as a dissemination partner in this project, which is carried out within the scope of the sub-grant program of the European Union-funded CEİD İzler Project.
