February 17: Adoption of the Turkish Civil Code

On the anniversary of the adoption of the Turkish Civil Code, we are coming together with the deep-rooted institutions of Izmir to discuss our rights and our future.

We welcome everyone interested to the panel moderated by YÜKAM Director Prof. Dr. Huriye Toker, and organized in partnership with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Women and Family Services, the Women’s Studies Branch Directorate, the Izmir City Council Women’s Assembly, and the Association for the Protection of Women’s Rights Izmir Branch.
